My Goals....

Howdy!!!

Starting Tomorrow---Every Friday I will weigh in so that you can see my progress!! My Goal is to reach 140 by Friday September 2, 2011!!!

That is Chris & My 16th Wedding Anniversary!! Here is the plan that we will both get to our normal healthy weight by that day!! Call me a romantic---but Chris will be carrying me "Over The Threshold" Only 16 years later!! We are planning to spend our anniversary @ The Bellagio in Las Vegas as our reward for all our hard work!! And we plan to visit our family that is in Hendersen & Las Vegas & also @ the beautiful Las Vegas Temple!!

Where I Have Been.....

Hey Everyone,

You have been probably wondering where I have been!!! Well I ended up having Pneumonia, & it has taken a while to get back my voice & energy. My foot has been acting up with more swelling, because I have to be straight on my feet all day, no sitting! So it has been a difficult 4 weeks!! It will get better!!! It has to!

Friday---June 4, 2010 (Day #4)

What a day!!!! Still sick & voiceless! I hope that this bug will leave my system soon!! I just feel terrible!! Tonight I am not feeling humorus—maybe it will return tomorrow with my voice!!
I keep think of a line said by Eyeore: “Not Much of a House, for not much of a Donkey!” I just love Eyeore, don’t you!!
It is raining, maybe the gunk will lift & I will feel better!!
Anyone had to fill out the High School Reunion stuff? I was looking through the email from our reunion, trying to think about what they would like to know!! What important jobs you have had, how many children, your education, etc., let me see I can answer them I have held 2 jobs since my high school graduation as has Chris! I think that is pretty good, we may not have a doctorate! (I was just kind of annoyed at some of them, flanting their ability to have been able to afford an post-high school which we could not afford to do; we didn’t want to get a student loans!)
I must be a tad bit irriateable forgive me!! Oh Yeah, to the kids part, do I say “Our Baby” is our cute little Chocolate Lab, Buddy Bear? Do I say—I had Endometriosis, I bleed easily—if I had been able get pregnant, I could have hemorrhaged, & not had a good outcome; Oh & by the way, I ended up having to have a total abdominal hysterectomy! Chris & I walked out together when we graduated, we were the first 2 to graduate!! I really think that we will have our own little reunion & have a date & do something fun, not worrying about try to impress someone, just to be ourselves!!

Wow! How Time Has Flown!!

Thursday---June 3, 2010 (Day #3)

Today I did not exercise except for walking, because I am sick with a bad head cold & feel miserable!!! But I finally broke down & went to Sam’s Club & bought Maxium Strength Mucinex!! It should start breaking my cough & congestion! I say that I finally broke down to get the stuff, because it is very expensive, almost $30.00! But it will do the trick!! Oh Where is a tissue when you need it!!
Last Night Chris & I & Kristen & Buddy Bear had a nice evening walk in the park across the street! We took our latern, at first we didn’t need it, but by the end I was glad that I had decided to bring it!
Well—Lost one more pound!! We are only @ 2lbs. But I’ll take that & improve that in the coming weeks!!
Say a prayer for me to get over this bug!! Right now I just wish that my foot would be over all the swelling & pain, but as they say: “This too Shall Pass!”
The school year has come to an end!! Wow!! My 20th Anniversary! Where has the time gone!! I think that I am definitely feeling old!! My best friends oldest son Jesse, is graduating tomorrow & Zack, Caleb &Jess (Nephews & Niece) will be Seniors & Ammon will be a Sophomore in High School!! Can I Say: “AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!”

Reflection on Today!

Wednesday---June 2, 2010 (Day #2)

Today is a day to reflect upon. This day always has me thinking of my dear cousin Kim Burningham Berry, that died in 1987 from Bone Cancer. Even to this day I still miss him! But I know that he is in the Spirit World helping to teach others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It gives me comfort that Families Can Be Forever!! And that we will see each other again in the not to distant future!
Today, I got on the scale & guess what it told me? I lost a pound!! Yes Siree!! I am excited to see what I will be at the end of this month!!! I had a lot of energy today & I was happy about that!!
I am going to try & do a walk today!! I am not feeling the greatest tonight. Cold/Allergies---lost my voice!! It will be better soon enough!! Check out my miles that I walk!!

My First Day to a New Healthy Me!!

Tuesday---June 1, 2010 (Day #1)
This is day one in a very long journey that I have embarked upon!! This was my get real moment!! I cannot believe that I have let myself get to this point!! But now that I see where I am, I will never be here again!! Today I weighed myself & was ashamed of my weight! I now weigh 335!!! The highest amount of weight in my life! So you ask what am I to do? I am going to start exercising, which I did tonight! I walked with Leslie, then a dance routine. But I realized that my foot was not ready for the dance routine!! I will have to wait another couple of weeks before I start that one!! I really want to get a membership again to the fitness center & start doing the water, but I can’t yet because I still have an open wound from my tarsal tunnel surgery, (March 22, 2010). I have an Amazing Doc. Dr. Jason Dickerson, they are so concerned with their patients, they really care about their patients, grateful that I found their office! It was an answer to a prayer. I am going to use 2 diet helps to get me going, they are Evomine-X (which I purchase from Ebay—Company is local!! It is suppose to be as good as HCG Injections!! So I am giving it a try!! $9.95+ $2.95 for shipping, which made it $12.90 & 14-Day Acai Berry Cleanse, purchased a while ago at Costco, found it in my room, when I was cleaning it & decided to give it another try!! So you all can watch my experience & maybe I can motivate you to begin a New Healthy Life!!!
